MultiTimeBar
Every time zone in your menu bar
MultiTimeBar is the fastest way to see the time in every city that matters to you — right from the macOS menu bar. Whether you work with a distributed team, coordinate with family abroad, or just enjoy following markets in different regions, MultiTimeBar keeps every clock a glance away. Add as many time zones as you like — no accounts, no ads.
I'm Ferin, the maker of MultiTimeBar (Open Source).
I built this for a very selfish reason: I work with teammates in San Diego, France and Australia, family in India. Every existing menu-bar world clock either wanted a subscription, locked the useful bits ("Pro" upgrade, unlock the meeting planner, unlock more than 3 clocks…), or was an Electron app that ate 400MB of RAM to render four lines of text. I finally gave up and wrote my own in a weekend. It got out of hand. Now it's here.
What MultiTimeBar does
🌍 Puts every time zone you care about right in your macOS menu bar — with country flag emojis, live times, and +1d / -1d day markers so you never book a 3am meeting again.
🕐 Time Travel planner — drag a slider and see when a proposed meeting time lands in every clock at once. This is the feature I use every single day.
🧱 Stacks clocks in two rows for notched MacBooks.
🔍 Search across 150+ cities backed by the IANA tz database.
🖤 Auto light/dark, 12/24-hour, seconds, optional Launch at Login.
What it doesn't do
No network requests. Ever. Fully sandboxed, on-device.
No accounts. No analytics. No ads. No upgrade nag.
Thanks for taking a look — and if MultiTimeBar saves you from one 3am meeting, we're even. ⏰
