Multimeter
Meters for anything, in your Mac's menu bar
Live meters in your Mac's menu bar: battery time left, watts, CPU, network, fan speed, timers, and any number from a script, URL, file or multimeter:// link. Pick one of 35 faces, from a needle gauge to nixie tubes to a row of hearts, or make your own. $19.99 once, no subscription.
Hey Product Hunt 👋, I'm Jake, and I made Multimeter.
I love fun things that are also useful and I wanted to try to do both in this app.
I also wanted my MacBook's battery in the menu bar as an actual gauge, with time to full and the watts it's pulling, etc.
...and I also wanted the CPU next to it and then my build status, etc. etc.
So the app became "Multimeter" became it can show meters for anything.
Each meter has a "source" (battery, power draw, CPU, memory, network, fan speed, a timer, a countdown, or your own number from a script, URL, file or a multimeter:// link) plus a face that draws it:
There's a bunch of "normal" chill/minimal/system-looking ones, but then also things like springy needle gauge, a backlit LCD, nixie tubes, a split-flap, a row of hearts or anything else you can think of.
There are 35 built in, and you can make your own.
It's light (about 3% CPU for five live meters), private (no account, no tracking) and $19.99 once.
What would you put in your menu bar? (I'll be here all day reading every comment.)
