Every time I walked into local retail shops, I noticed the same headache: owners struggling with expensive, complicated cash registers or trying to track everything in messy paper notebooks. Worse yet, whenever the internet dropped, their whole checkout process ground to a halt.
I built Mufungo POS to fix that exact problem.
My goal was to create a point-of-sale tool that actually fits how small businesses operate. It is an affordable, offline-first Android app built so shop owners can ring up sales, track inventory, and print receipts via Bluetooth even with zero internet connection. When the network comes back, everything syncs up seamlessly.
Building it meant focusing on what matters most: simplicity, reliability, and keeping data safe locally. No heavy hardware, no network stress, just a smart tool that keeps businesses moving forward.
