MSTeams.link

Shorten monster Teams meeting links — QR code included

A Microsoft Teams meeting link is a 200-character monster of %3a, thread IDs and tenant codes — ugly on a slide, broken in chat, impossible to read out loud. MSTeams.link fixes that one thing: paste it, get msteams.link/AB12 that opens the exact same meeting. Every link gets a QR code, there's a Chrome extension, and click stats when you log in. Built only for Teams, not a generic Bitly. Free, no account needed. EN/FR/ES.

Hi Product Hunt, solo maker here. This started back in 2020 out of plain annoyance: I kept pasting these enormous Teams meeting links into chats and printed agendas, and they'd either look terrible or get mangled when the text wrapped. So I built a tiny tool that does one thing well — turn that long link into msteams.link/AB12 that opens the exact same meeting, just far easier to share, print, or read out on a call. It's grown a little since. Every short link now auto-generates a QR code (surprisingly handy for in-person "scan to join"), logged-in users get click stats, there's finally a Chrome extension so you can shorten without leaving the tab, and it speaks French and Spanish now, not just English. It's free and needs no account for basic shortening. There's an optional Premium (EUR 4.99/mo, 7-day trial) that swaps the redirect page for an instant jump, but I want the free version to stay the whole point. I'd genuinely love your feedback, especially if you run remote teams, do training, or wrangle a lot of Teams meetings: what would make you actually reach for it? And if you hit anything broken, tell me — I read every message.
