Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built MrCine because I was tired. Tired of scrolling for 30 minutes and still picking the wrong movie. Tired of fighting with friends about what to watch on movie night. Tired of algorithm recommendations that clearly don't know me.
🎬 The problem is universal: every streaming user wastes an average of 4+ hours per month just choosing what to watch. That's insane.
So I built MrCine to make that problem disappear — and made it fun in the process.

- A cinematic personality quiz (3 min, 18 questions) that builds a taste profile
- An AI Oracle powered by LLMs that reasons about your preferences and explains its picks
- "Sofa Match" — a group recommendation engine that finds the movie everyone will enjoy
- Gamification with 30 levels, 5 leagues, achievements, streaks, and daily challenges
- Full TMDB integration for posters, trailers, cast, and "Where to Watch" streaming data
- TikTok-optimized quiz funnels that drive organic acquisition
