Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Sam, solo founder of MoveTogether.
I built this because every fitness competition app I tried assumed my friends and I were all on the same hardware. If you’re on an Apple device and your buddy tracks steps on a Fitbit, you basically can’t compete — the leaderboards just don’t talk to each other. That always felt backwards. The whole point of a challenge is having the people you actually know in it with you.
So MoveTogether is built around cross-device leaderboards. Everyone brings whatever they already track with, and the competition just works. No “sorry, you need to buy this watch first.”
It started as a simple accountability tool for me and a few friends, and the more I leaned into making it device-agnostic, the clearer it got that that was the actual product — not another closed ecosystem. V2 is a full redesign around that idea.
