Hey Product Hunt,
I'm Brian. I'm an education consultant, not a developer. But the deeper I fell down the AI rabbit hole, the more hours I spent hunched at my desk, and my body started sending invoices: stiff neck, tight shoulders, the hunch you only notice when you finally stand up.
MotionCue is the app I built to pay the tab. Ten months, a lot of rage quits, and one OAuth screen that nearly ended me, and now it's live: native iPhone + Apple Watch, one 30-second stretch at a time, designed around flow instead of against it.
Things I cared about that I hope you notice:
- Every stretch is human-made and cites its source. Real clinics, tappable citations, no AI-generated exercise content. One of 36 stretches is deliberately text-only because animating it honestly wasn't possible.
- Watch-first. The reminder finds your wrist, the stretch plays there, your phone stays away.
- Each theme has its own composed music (koto for the Japanese onsen theme, oud for Marrakech, a slow jungle groove for the Amazon). We wrote it in-house so it loops seamlessly and belongs to the app.
- Honest money. Up-front 14-day trial, plain price, cancel anytime, Family Sharing included. No dark patterns.
- Private by design. Local-first, no accounts, optional Apple Health, nothing sold.
