I’m Keaton, the creator of Mot Mystère!
As a big fan of word puzzle games like Wordle, I always felt like something was missing: the thrill of the clock and a true competitive edge. That’s why I decided to build my own version from scratch using pure Vanilla JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3!
With Mot Mystère, I wanted to spice things up:
Arcade Scoring System: Your score depends heavily on your speed, your current win streak, and the number of attempts.
Smart Hint System: Stuck on a word? You can get a hint, but it will cost you a 120-point penalty if you win!
Polished Experience: I built a fully custom UI with responsive design, retro-modern synth sound effects, and smooth animations.
