I’m Luka, solo founder of Moodie.
The idea came from something pretty mundane. My girlfriend would ask me almost every evening to find a movie for us to watch. I kept asking Chat GPT but it never remembered what I’d already seen or what mood I was actually in -I had to reexplain everything from scratch every single time.
So I built Moodie: you just describe what you’re in the mood for or actually whatever you want, and it picks a movie for you, remembers what you’ve already watched, and tells you where to stream it.
It started as a way to solve my own annoyance, but more I built, more I realized this is a problem basically everyone with a partner, roommate, or family has - that 20 minutes of “I don’t know what do you want to watch” scrolling before you actually watch anything.
I’m building this solo, so any feedback, bugs, or feature ideas are genuinely welcome - I read and reply to everything.
