MonsterDealz Deal-Alarm
Real-time browser alerts for new German deals
Deal-Alarm fires a browser notification the moment a new deal lands on MonsterDealz.de. Pick a check interval (15/30/60/120 min) and filter by category and keyword, so you only hear about what you want. Quiet hours keep it silent at night while the badge keeps counting, and the popup lists the latest 15 deals. No account, no server, no tracking - it reads a public RSS feed and stays in your browser. Note: MonsterDealz.de is a German deals site, so the deals are in German.
Hi Product Hunt,
I run MonsterDealz.de, a German deals site. The recurring complaint from our readers was simple: the good deals are gone by the time you check the site. Refreshing a page all day is not a solution.
So Deal-Alarm is deliberately small. It reads our public RSS feed, notifies you when something new lands, and lets you narrow it down by category and keyword so you are not buzzed for things you do not care about. Quiet hours exist because an early version happily woke people at 3am.
It has no backend at all. Nothing is sent anywhere, there is no account, and the whole thing runs locally in the browser.
Happy to answer anything about the setup or the filtering.
