Mokxi

A free electronics simulator that runs in your browser

Wire a circuit on a breadboard, write the C++, press Run. Mokxi simulates an Arduino Uno, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico or STM32 in real time, right in your browser, with nothing to install. Every board and part is free. Circuit Doctor spots wiring mistakes before you fry a real part, and teachers get free lessons, classes, login cards and automatic checks. When it works, send the same sketch to a real board.

Hey Product Hunt, I’m Dane and I made Mokxi. I got tired of watching people get stuck before they even wrote any code because parts cost money, one wrong wire fries a board and school Chromebooks won’t let you install anything. The other simulators out there were ugly and limited so I built my own. And there’s nothing like building something with code, it just feels better to me. You drop parts on a real breadboard, write real C++ and hit run, and it’s fast enough for screens, servos, WiFi and sensors. If you wire something wrong Circuit Doctor tells you why in plain English. Teachers get a 12 week course, classes with login cards so kids don’t need an email, starter projects, auto checks and a gradebook, and student projects are always private. It’s free with unlimited public projects and paid plans get you private projects and pro tools. Let me know what boards or parts you want next and what breaks. I’m reading every comment and will continue to develop the platform into something we can all use.
