Built by a father, tested by a daughter. When my fifth-grade daughter repeatedly scored in the 80s on math mock exams, we realized the problem wasn't what she knew—it was performing under pressure. I'm excited to share MockTimer Pro with you today.
This product started with a very personal challenge. My fifth-grade daughter was preparing for her final exams. She understood the material well, but her math mock exam scores repeatedly stayed in the 80s.
After reviewing her results together, we realized the problem wasn't knowledge—it was performance under exam conditions. Time pressure, the countdown clock, distractions, and exam anxiety were affecting her more than we expected.
As an engineer and a believer in deliberate practice, I wondered: athletes have competition simulations, pilots have flight simulators—why don't students have realistic exam simulators?
So I built MockTimer Pro.
The app recreates real exam conditions with immersive timers, exam hall environments, and realistic distractions to help students practice focus and perform better under pressure.
Over the weeks leading up to her final exam, my daughter completed nearly 10 full simulations and reviews. Her confidence improved, her mistakes decreased, and she ultimately scored a perfect 100 on her math final.
Of course, the score came from her hard work. The app simply helped create a more effective way to prepare.
Today, we're sharing this tool and training method with anyone preparing for exams, certifications, language tests, or other high-pressure assessments.
