I started building it because I kept forgetting random things throughout the day. Not big, important notes that I'd sit down and write, but the little things. Something someone mentioned, an idea I had while walking, something I needed to remember later.
I tried using Notes and voice memos, but the problem was always finding things again.
So I built mmory.
The idea is pretty simple: hold to record a thought, let it save, and ask about it whenever you need it. You can also type memories, search through your Library, and set reminders.
One thing I really wanted was privacy. That's why I put so much effort into making transcription and AI processing work on the iPhone rather than sending your recordings off to a server.
It's been a lot of building, testing and learning, and this is my first time launching something like this.
I'd genuinely love feedback, especially on two things:
Would you actually use something like this in your daily life?
What's the one thing that would make it useful enough to keep coming back?
Thanks for checking it out. I'll be around to answer questions and hear your thoughts! 🙌

Mmory was hunted by Dhruv Dadoo. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
