I make slides for work and could never find templates that looked Japanese without looking like a tourism poster. Everything on the template sites is the same rounded-corner deck. So I built this.
You pick a layout, type over the text, and export. 12 layouts, 4 themes.
The export is the part that mattered most. It writes the .pptx in your browser with no libraries - the ZIP container and the OOXML parts are generated directly, in about 340 lines. What comes out has to be a real deck and not pictures of a deck, so the headings and body are text frames and the comparison slide is an actual PowerPoint table. Rather than take that on trust, the output was opened from PowerPoint's side and counted: 12 slides, 82 text frames with content, one native table, zero pictures.
Things I know are rough. Fonts are not embedded, so without a mincho face installed it falls back to something wrong. The traditional patterns are simplified - real wagara turns to mud at small sizes. And 12 layouts is not many.
It is free and there is no account. There is a pricing section on the site behind a waitlist, but nothing is for sale. I put it there to find out whether anyone would want it.
What I would most like to know is whether the .pptx opens cleanly for you. That is the claim I am least sure of.
