Miravel
Simulate any big money decision under German rules.
Miravel answers one question: what happens to your money if you make a big life decision? Have a child, buy vs rent, go part-time, change or lose a job, become self-employed, retire. Enter your household once and every choice recalculates under 2026 German tax, pension and social-insurance rules. Your data stays in your browser: no account, nothing uploaded, and deterministic numbers you can trace to every dated assumption. Built for people who are not finance people. Information, never advice.

Founder here. I kept watching friends in Germany make six-figure decisions, buy a flat, take parental leave, drop to 60 percent, on the back of a generic calculator that ignored Steuerklasse, the pension hit, or how Elterngeld is actually calculated. So the numbers they were deciding on were quietly wrong. Miravel encodes the 2026 German rules and recalculates your whole household the moment you change one decision. Two things I cared about most. It runs entirely in your browser with no account, so I never see your finances. And there is no AI anywhere in the calculation path, so the numbers are deterministic, traceable, and the same every time. AI helps with wording, never with a figure. It is information, not advice. It shows you the consequence of a decision, it never tells you what to choose. Happy to go deep on the engine, the privacy model, or the reproducibility tests. And I would genuinely like to know: what life decision would you want simulated next?
