I built Mintza because of a problem I lived myself: you study a language for years, you can read it, watch shows in it, and then someone speaks to you and your mind goes completely blank. The gap between understanding a language and speaking it is huge, and nothing on my phone closed it. Textbook apps teach grammar. Flashcard apps teach vocabulary. Nobody teaches the thing that actually matters: opening your mouth and talking.
So Mintza is a real, open voice conversation in the language you are learning, about anything you want.
