MindBackyard
A 3D Space for Your Thoughts — Spatial Mental Shelving
MindBackyard is a space to wander, place thoughts as Thought Blocks in 3D Thought Space, connect each block to Mental Steps, and explore fear-based protective thoughts through the Workbench.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the independent creator of MINDBEBOP, and I'm excited to introduce MindBackyard!
MindBackyard started with a simple question:
What if we could interact with our thoughts spatially, rather than just keeping them in our heads?
Instead of organizing thoughts into lists or trying to eliminate unwanted ones, MindBackyard gives them a place to exist.
You can wander through an Infinite Hallway, place thoughts as 3D Thought Blocks in Thought Space, move them closer or farther away, and change their orientation.
Thought Spaces can also be nested, allowing you to explore thoughts within thoughts and move between different mental environments.
Each Thought Block can connect to multiple sets of Mental Steps, offering different possible paths toward a Mental Destination.
With the Workbench, we're experimenting with ways to explore fear-based protective thoughts without necessarily trying to eliminate them.
MindBackyard is part of MINDBEBOP, an ongoing experiment in Mental Navigation.
The goal isn't to turn every thought into a task. It's to give people more freedom in how they relate to their thoughts.
I'd love to hear what you think!
Would interacting with your thoughts spatially feel different from writing them down?
Thanks for checking out MindBackyard!
