The idea for Midevela came from a simple observation: most AI chatbots are good at answering FAQs, but they rarely help customers make a purchase. They often lose context, provide generic answers, or require merchants to spend hours configuring products and workflows before they become useful.
We wanted to build something different.
Midevela is an AI Sales Employee designed for online stores. Instead of simply answering questions, it learns about a merchant's business by crawling their website, understanding their product catalog, FAQs, and policies, then helping customers discover products, compare options, answer buying questions, and know when it's time to hand the conversation over to a human.
Our goal isn't to replace people. It's to give every business an AI teammate that can engage customers around the clock and help convert more visitors into buyers.
We're launching our beta today, and this is just the beginning. We're looking for honest feedback from founders, developers, and e-commerce businesses to help shape the future of Midevela.
