MetroPing

Calm alerts before your Delhi Metro stop

I built MetroPing around one simple question: do Delhi Metro riders genuinely need a reliable alert before their destination or interchange when they are distracted, tired, or stop watching station signs? • Have you ever nearly missed a stop or interchange? • Would you use an alert like this on a real journey? • Did the alert arrive early, late, or on time? • Would you use MetroPing again? Free on iPhone via TestFlight; Android testing is currently by request.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built MetroPing around one simple question: do Delhi Metro riders genuinely need a reliable alert before their destination or interchange when they are distracted, tired, or stop watching station signs? This is intentionally a validation-first beta. The UI is functional, but visual polish is not the main focus yet. UI and UX feedback is welcome and will inform later iterations; the feedback that helps most right now is: • Have you ever nearly missed a stop or interchange? • Would you use an alert like this on a real journey? • Did the alert arrive early, late, or on time? • Would you use MetroPing again? The iPhone beta is available through TestFlight. Android access is currently limited to approved testers. MetroPing is independent and not affiliated with DMRC. Underground signals can be weak, so always check station signs and announcements too. Honest feedback—including ‘this is not a real problem for me’—is exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks for trying it 🙏

Who hunted MetroPing?

MetroPing was hunted by Gaurav dudeja. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
