Hey Product Hunt! @dima_goncharov , @leite, @orta21 , @ramil_garipov and I are the team behind Metriport — an open-source platform that helps healthcare companies access and manage patient medical data. Today we’re very excited to share with you the launch of our new product - our Medical API — which enables healthcare providers to retrieve comprehensive and consolidated clinical histories of their patients via the largest Health Information Networks in the United States. For healthcare providers and digital health organizations, gaining access to electronic health records can be so costly and cumbersome that many often resort to faxes, phone, and lengthy patient surveys to relieve essential patient data, resulting in valuable information being missed, as well as greatly increasing the likelihood of collecting incorrect information — both with potentially grave consequences. Our solution is an open-source FHIR-native API (https://www.metriport.com/medical) and provider dashboard (https://www.metriport.com/dashboard), that delivers comprehensive patient medical records to providers at the point of care, in seconds. By standardizing, de-duplicating, consolidating, and hydrating data along with medical code crosswalking, our software delivers a comprehensive view of a patient's health. Out of the box, the data that Metriport can extract from patient medical records includes things such as: • Conditions • Medications • Encounter and progress notes • Vitals • Allergies • Lab results • Imaging • Family medical history • … and so much more In addition to our integrations with CommonWell Health Alliance and Carequality that are live today, we also plan on adding additional integrations to other networks, such as eHealth Exchange, in the near term.
