MeshGrid
Off-grid team mapping and messaging without internet.
Stay connected when networks fail. MeshGrid combines LoRa hardware with a robust iOS app to create an independent, off-grid coordination hub. Share real-time locations on shared maps, send encrypted messages, and manage field missions without internet or cellular signal. Perfect for Search & Rescue and disaster response, MeshGrid features MGRS/UTM support and a high-performance, memory-efficient architecture. Built for the moments when communication is a necessity, not a luxury.
Hi Product Hunt community! 👋
I’m the maker of MeshGrid. The idea for this project started with a simple but critical question: How do teams coordinate when the world goes dark? Whether it’s a natural disaster, a search-and-rescue mission in the mountains, or a tactical operation in a remote area, cellular networks are often the first thing to fail. I built MeshGrid to turn your iPhone into a professional-grade communication hub that doesn't need a single bar of signal.
What makes MeshGrid different?
Software-Hardware Synergy: It pairs your iPhone with LoRa-based nodes (ESP32) via Bluetooth to create a long-range, independent mesh network.
Built for Reliability: As a developer, I’m obsessed with performance. The app is designed with a thread-safe architecture and strict memory management to ensure it never crashes when you need it most.
Professional Standards: We support MGRS/UTM coordinate systems and provide encrypted messaging because precision and privacy are non-negotiable in the field.
Open Hardware: While the iOS app is the brain, the node firmware is available on GitHub. I believe in the "build-it-yourself" spirit for critical infrastructure.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the integration or any features you'd like to see for field operations. I'll be here all day to answer your technical questions!
Stay safe and stay connected,
Toygar Dundaralp

Who hunted MeshGrid?
MeshGrid was hunted by Toygar Dündaralp. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
