Hi Product Hunt! I’m Luke, the creator of Meridia. I’ve spent 15 years building games and interactive software. With Meridia, the goal, unlike the execution, was quite simple. Merge the fun of exploring 3D worlds in a videogame with interactive language learning. I built Meridia independently over roughly eight months. The current app focuses on beginner vocabulary, phrases, and contextual practice. My longer-term goal is a more interesting world with deeper language learning and interactive characters. There are many ways I'd love to improve the app. Meridia is available on iPhone and is free to start, with additional content through Premium. I’d love to hear what feels useful, what feels confusing, and what would make you want to come back.
