Throughout my career in business development, client development and professional services, I’ve spent countless hours preparing for important meetings.
The process was always familiar: company websites, LinkedIn profiles, recent news, annual reports, Google searches, internal notes, and whatever other information I could find. While thorough preparation is essential, assembling it all into something useful often took 60+ minutes for a single meeting.
The irony is that the most valuable part of any meeting isn’t the research. It’s the conversation itself.
I’ve always enjoyed building strong professional relationships, understanding what matters to people, and having meaningful discussions that create value for both sides. Yet too much time was being spent gathering information rather than thinking about how to use it.
MeetingBrief was built to solve that problem.
