Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Manish, the maker of MeetHalfway.
The idea came from a simple but annoying problem: every time friends wanted to meet, we spent more time arguing about where to meet than actually meeting.
Someone lived on one side of the city, someone else on the other, and picking a location always felt unfair.
So I built MeetHalfway.
Here's how it works:
• Create a meetup room
• Share a link with friends
• Everyone adds their location
• You can add their location too
• MeetHalfway calculates the optimal meeting area
• Get ranked venue recommendations based on travel fairness and travel time
What makes it different from a basic midpoint calculator is that recommendations are ranked using real travel-time data, not just straight-line distance.
The current version supports group of 2 to 10 people and recommends cafés, restaurants, and other meetup spots.
It's currently free to use while I gather feedback and improve the recommendation engine.
