I built MeetAlarm after missing an important meeting for the dumbest reason: my iPhone was on Do Not Disturb, and the calendar notification was a banner I never saw.
Calendar notifications are just... notifications. Silent mode eats them. Focus eats them. But a meeting isn't a "maybe" — missing it has a real cost.
iOS 26 finally opened AlarmKit, the system alarm engine, to third-party apps. MeetAlarm uses it to turn your calendar into an actual alarm clock:

🔗 One-tap join — detects Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, FaceTime and more; phone conferences get one-tap dial-in with the meeting code entered for you
🚗 "Leave by" alarms — for in-person meetings, it rings when it's time to leave (start time − live travel time)
📵 Two-stage alarms — a gentle "prep" heads-up, then a hard alarm right before start
🔒 Private by design — no account, no server, no analytics. Calendar data never leaves the device.
One thing I'm proud of shipping this week (v1.3): a user told me the app "didn't detect meetings" — turns out their events were solo entries being silently filtered by the "Meetings only" rule. Now the empty state explains exactly *why* nothing will ring, and free users can see every active rule. If the app ever confuses you, that's a bug I want to hear about.
Free version includes the full real-alarm experience with one calendar. Pro unlocks multiple calendars, per-calendar rules, travel-time alarms and more.
