CRM, scheduling, and cost tracking for the media industry
CRM, quoting, scheduling, cost tracking and invoicing for media production, post-production and distribution. From first enquiry to final invoice, Mediawork makes managing film and TV projects simple -- for freelance creatives, post houses, distribution vendors, ad agencies, and -- crucially -- their clients too. Free Starter plan, no card required.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I've spent around 20 years in the cinema and media vendor world. I've launched projects in this space before but some problems just never seem to go away -- communication, and the lack of a single source of truth across people, teams, clients, and vendors.
Take post production facilities. A client emails asking for a quote. Someone builds it in a spreadsheet. It's won, so the details get re-typed into a scheduling tool. The work happens, costs get tracked somewhere else, and at the end someone reconstructs an invoice from all three. Every step is a re-entry, and every step is several emails with the client.
Mediawork is the attempt to make that one path instead of four. A quote request comes in, you quote it, the won quote becomes the schedule, the schedule feeds cost tracking, and the invoice comes out of the same data. Nothing gets typed twice, and your clients get visibility of the key details.
A couple of important notes:
It isn't new today. Mediawork has been running with real facilities since last year — this is just the first time I've put it in front of this community. So it isn't a demo. You can sign up on the free Starter plan and quote a real job.
For the PH crowd specifically... there's an AI assistant built in, although you need to bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI key. It's read-only for now so agents can't make changes yet, but we provide tools to read the CRM, quotes, schedule, invoices, messages, and tasks. We also have an unauthenticated MCP server which allows agents to query our limited but growing directory of media vendors.
If anyone here works in post or distribution, tell me your biggest pain points and whether Mediawork looks helpful. Cheers!

Who hunted Mediawork?
Mediawork was hunted by Graham G. Hughes. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
