Hi Product Hunt! I'm Denis, and I am so excited to finally share Meadow with you!!
Back in 2018, when I switched my major to Computer Science, a friend told me to think of an app I'd love to build one day. I picked this one. I failed spectacularly. Databases, servers, design, marketing... I didn't know any of it yet. So I made myself a promise to come back once I did. Years later, after a lot of weekends, here it is!
Meadow lets you plant a song at a real place. Anyone who walks by can listen, collect it, and plant their own for the next person. Think Pokemon Go, but every catch is a song someone chose for that exact spot. A bench in a park. The corner where you had your first date. The street you walk home on.
We're told by algorithms what to listen to next all day long. I wanted music discovery to feel like an adventure again, with real people behind every song.
