Math Striker started in a classroom in the Middle East and not a boardroom or startup accelerator.
One of us is a primary school teacher at an international school. He kept seeing the same problem: children reaching the end of primary school without confidence in their times tables.
So he built something himself, purely to raise the profile of times tables in his own classroom. A fast-paced, football-themed game that wraps multiplication practice inside real competition and fun. Kids who dreaded times tables started asking to play again.
That's when we knew it needed to go further than one classroom.
We teamed up, built it properly, and here we are. Two people who believe the right game can transform a child's confidence in maths.
