Match Notebook
Scouting notes to win your next racket sports match
Match Notebook is a scouting notebook for racket sports players — tennis, table tennis, badminton, and pickleball. Track each opponent's weaknesses, write a strategy card, and record game-by-game scores. Before a rematch, the Scout tab shows your whole game plan in 30 seconds. It even reminds you on match day and opens straight to that opponent's strategy card. Privacy first: no account, no network, data stays on your device. Free to start; unlimited is a one-time $14.99 — no subscription.
Hey! I'm Akira, an indie dev from Japan.
My daughter plays competitive table tennis. Before every match, she'd flip through a paper notebook where she'd written down opponents' weaknesses and tactics. It worked — but she kept losing pages.
I built Match Notebook to replace that paper notebook. It's designed for the moment right before a match when you need to remember: "what worked last time?" It even reminds you on match day and opens straight to that opponent's strategy card.
Built with SwiftUI. Everything runs on-device with no server. The free tier covers casual players — serious competitors can unlock unlimited with a one-time purchase.
I'd love to hear how you prepare for matches. Do you keep notes on opponents?
