MaskMyBody
Redact Faces, Fingertips & GPS data. Zero Cloud Uploads.
MaskMyBody helps you prepare photos for sharing without sending them to a server. It masks detected faces and fingertips, then removes GPS and other EXIF metadata on export. Photo processing stays in your browser. Edit one photo for free; batch processing is available with a one-time Pro purchase.
Hey everyone!
This actually started out as a little side project I built for myself.
Whenever I wanted to post a picture online—selling something on Marketplace, sharing a group photo, or posting a receipt—I just wanted a quick way to hide faces, block out license plates, and wipe the GPS location. But every site I found wanted me to upload my raw photos to their servers(WHY?) or create an account, which felt sketchy and defeated the whole point.
So over a weekend, I hacked together a simple tool that runs all the AI detection locally right in the browser. Zero cloud uploads—your photos never leave your device (you can literally turn off your Wi-Fi after the first load and it still works).
Along the way, I also added peace-sign fingertip blurring after reading about how modern phone cameras can actually leak fingerprint ridges from selfies.
A few friends started using it regularly and asked for a bulk mode to clean whole batches of photos at once, so that's how it turned into a real project and SaaS.
Single photos are completely free to use—no signups, no watermarks, just a handy tool to keep bookmarked whenever you need to strip private data before posting online.
Would love for you to give it a spin and tell me what you think!
