Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built MarkPress because my Markdown workflow kept getting more fragmented.
I would write in one tool, preview somewhere else, upload images separately, reformat the article for publishing, then use another tool again to create social images or share the draft.
What started as a simple Markdown editor gradually became the workspace I wanted for myself.
Today, MarkPress lets you write and preview Markdown, keep unlimited local documents, sync drafts across devices, manage image hosting, create layouts for WeChat Official Accounts, share documents through public or private links, export social cards, and even publish directly to WordPress.
I've tried to keep the core experience lightweight. You can use it directly in the browser, and local documents can stay on your device instead of requiring everything to live in the cloud.
One thing I care a lot about is reducing the number of tools needed between "I finished writing" and "this is ready to publish."
MarkPress is still evolving, and I'd love to hear how other developers, indie makers, bloggers, and writers handle this workflow.
