Built with Tauri, Vue, TypeScript, and Rust.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt! I built MarkerOn because screen annotation tools often felt too heavy or required interrupting the flow to open a separate app. I wanted something instant: press one hotkey, draw directly over any window, then get out of the way. MarkerOn is open source and available for Windows and macOS. It includes eight annotation tools, keyboard-first controls, undo/redo, quick screen copying, and optional drawing persistence. I would love to hear how you use on-screen annotation and which feature would make MarkerOn more useful for you.
