I’m the maker of Marillo, thanks for checking it out!
I built this because I was tired of writing SQL for every small question. I wanted a faster way to explore data without switching between tools or dashboards.
Also, one pattern I’ve noticed is that many companies end up building custom internal tools or CRMs. While that gives flexibility, it often means there are no ready-made analytics or reporting modules, so getting insights still requires writing queries or building dashboards from scratch.
Marillo lets you connect your database and ask questions in plain English. It translates them into SQL, runs them on your live data, and returns results instantly as tables or charts.
A big focus for me was security and trust:
No database data is stored
Each connection runs in its own isolated container
You can control exactly which tables and columns are accessible
I’m currently onboarding early users and would really appreciate your feedback especially around accuracy, performance, and real-world use cases.
