I built Mappa because I was tired of saving places on Google Maps and never finding them when I actually needed them.
The problem: Google Maps doesn't filter by context.
"A restaurant with a good wine list, not too expensive, recommended by my friend Jules" = impossible to find.
Mappa fixes that with combinable filters, custom tags, and a field to track who recommended each place.
Plus a "Surprise me" mode that picks a spot nearby when you can't decide.
