Manas
Todos auto-checked from browsing, messages & coding agents
A todo list for your Mac and iPhone that checks itself. You write the list; Manas reads your day (your Claude Code and Codex sessions, browser history, Screen Time and messages) and has your own Claude mark each todo done, in progress or not started, with one line of evidence. It picks up work you never wrote down, catches what you promised in messages, and totals the time you wasted. Your list syncs to your iPhone, so it's with you everywhere. Free on the App Store and for Mac.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
Most of my day happens where my todo list can't see it: Claude Code and Codex sessions, browser tabs, a long iMessage thread. So the list was always wrong. Things I'd finished sat unchecked, and things I did never made it on.
Manas fixes that. You write the list, on your Mac or iPhone. Then every hour it reads your day and checks the list against what actually happened:
✅ Verdicts with evidence: each todo is marked done, in progress, or not started, with one line of proof, e.g. "done · claude code session, 2:14–3:40 pm".
➕ Work you never wrote down: features you built in a coding session show up, ready to add already checked off.
⏳ Waste of time: long stretches of feeds or YouTube land in their own group, with a daily total.
🗂 Groups: drag todos into Work, Personal, or your own, and share a group with someone by phone number.
💸 Every token on display: a usage strip shows what each check cost.
⌨️ Quick capture: double-tap Caps Lock anywhere to add a todo.
Privacy: Manas reads local files on your Mac. Judging runs through the claude CLI you already have, on your existing subscription, with no API key. Only your todos sync, through a phone-number account. Analytics are off by default and never include your todos or activity.
It's free: macOS 14+ on Apple silicon, iPhone on iOS 17+. The code is on GitHub, source-available under the Elastic License 2.0.
I'd love to know what you'd want it to read next.

Who hunted Manas?
Manas was hunted by Viraat Das. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
