Mahjong Sudoku Classic

Sudoku with Chinese Mahjong tile symbols

A calm single-solution Sudoku puzzle app that replaces the usual 1-9 grid with Mahjong-inspired tile suits. It keeps classic Sudoku logic, but makes the board more visual and challenging for Mahjong fans and puzzle players.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m William. I built Mahjong Sudoku Classic because I’m a Sudoku fan. Normal 1-9 Sudoku can become very abstract when puzzles get harder, so I wondered what would happen if the same logic used Chinese Mahjong-style tile suits instead. The rules are still classic Sudoku: each row, column, and 3x3 area needs one of each value. The difference is the visual language. I’m curious what puzzle players think: do Mahjong-style symbols make Sudoku feel fresher, or are numbers still easier to solve?
