Clean Mode is a simple macOS utility that disables your keyboard and trackpad so you can safely clean your screen. No accidental clicks, no shortcuts triggered, just wipe and hold Escape to exit.

Every time I cleaned my Mac keyboard, I'd accidentally trigger Spotlight, open random apps, or send half-typed messages. So I built MacWipe :) a tiny macOS utility that disables your keyboard, trackpad, and clicks instantly so you can wipe your screen and keyboard in peace.
Think of it as Tesla's cleaning mode, but for your Mac.
How it works:
→ Launch MacWipe, everything gets disabled
→ Clean your screen and keyboard safely
→ Hold ESC to exit (or it auto-exits in 2 minutes)
I vibe coded the whole thing with Claude in a weekend. It's free, no tracking, no accounts.
