MacScope
Native Mac monitoring and power tools in one app
MacScope is a native SwiftUI command center for Apple-silicon Macs. It combines live CPU, memory, network, disk, thermal, and battery telemetry with safe process controls and seven optional utility workspaces: sound, capture, windows, clipboard/files, notes, maintenance, and power. Everything runs locally, protected actions stay permission-gated, and unavailable hardware metrics are labeled honestly. It is under active development and currently built from source for macOS 14+.
Hey Product Hunt! I built MacScope because I wanted one native place to understand my Mac and handle the small utilities that kept breaking my focus. The result goes beyond a dashboard: live telemetry and process controls sit alongside per-app audio, capture tools, window management, clipboard and file workflows, notes, maintenance, power controls, a command bar, quick panel, and a local MCP server.
Privacy and honesty shaped the implementation. Telemetry stays local, protected actions use macOS permissions, and unsupported readings are shown as unavailable instead of made-up zeroes. MacScope is still under active development and currently targets Apple silicon on macOS 14+. I’d love feedback on which surface or workflow is most useful—and what feels missing.
