I’m the creator of Lychee, and I’m so excited to share it with you today! 🚀
To be completely honest, the inspiration behind Lychee came from sheer frustration. I was tired of how Google Chrome handles bookmarks. The standard browser folders felt outdated, clunky, and honestly — pretty ugly. Every time I saved a link, it felt like throwing it into a black hole where it would be lost forever.
I wanted something different. I wanted a tool that doesn’t just store links, but turns them into a beautiful, inspiring workspace. I wanted comfort, clean aesthetics, and a visual layout that actually makes sense.
That’s why I built Lychee. I wanted to bring the gorgeous Bento-grid visual style to bookmarking, combined with modern AI semantic search so you can find your saved resources by context, not just by matching exact words.
Lychee was built out of a personal need for a better, more elegant digital home for our ideas, articles, and inspiration.
