I built LUX out of pure frustration. I was tired of transferring movie files to my phone only to get "format not supported" errors, and I hated how clunky and bloated most video players looked on iOS. I wanted an app that felt premium and native.
As a solo dev crafting this out of NYC, I focused entirely on giving users an absolute clean UI, massive file support (MKV, WebM, etc.), and smooth network streaming for Plex/SMB. I'd love for you to try it out and give me your feedback! 🍎🇺🇸
