lunema

Answer a few questions, get tonight's movie

lunema picks one movie for tonight by asking how you feel right now — no account, no watch history, no profile. Your taste changes daily, so every session starts from scratch. Answer a few questions, react to a couple of posters, done in 2–3 minutes.

Hey PH 👋 I built lunema because I kept spending more time choosing a movie than watching one. Every recommendation engine I tried was built on my watch history — which tells you what I liked last month, not what I'm in the mood for tonight. So I went the opposite way: lunema stores nothing about you. No account, no profile. Each session starts blank, asks a handful of mood questions ("something tense or something warm?"), shows you a few posters to gauge your reaction, and narrows down to one film from a catalog of ~9,300. It's free, works in English, Korean, Spanish and German, and takes 2–3 minutes. Give it a spin tonight — and if it finds your movie, tell your friends. I'd love for as many people as possible to use it.
