Lunaris
A local-first, autonomous AI coding agent for VS Code
Lunaris is a local-first, autonomous AI coding agent for VS Code. Run models privately via Ollama on your machine or connect to cloud APIs. Stream logs, plans, and active tasks to your phone. Reply to questions remotely if the agent gets stuck.
I wanted to share something I've been working on with y'all. I think you might like it. Been working in Fintech pretty much my whole professional career. And have been met with a few weird rules in regards to AI usage. As a result, I decided to work on Lunaris which was intended to work with local models via Ollama to solve some of the AI usage policies I've been met with. So allow me to introduce, a local-first AI coding agent for VS Code. Took it a step further and added the ability to interact with the agent from your phone when you step away from your machine (because one time I had to do school run during work hours).
Please sign up for early access, giving out 1 month free tier for those who would like to try out cloud models!
