Lumi

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Rayhan, I’m 17, and I’ve been building Lumi for the BAEHQ Student Startup program, a 5-day hackathon. Today is Day 4. I have ADHD, and I’ve always found traditional education and most edtech pretty passive and boring. Everyone learns differently, yet so much of education is still one-size-fits-all. So I wanted to build something different: an AI tutor that actually engages with you and adapts to how you learn. With Lumi, you can have a real conversation, upload notes and PDFs, work on an interactive whiteboard, and generate diagrams, images and visual explanations when you need them. Private tutoring can easily cost £1,000+ a year, so our goal is to make personalised learning around 90% cheaper and help level the playing field. We’ve got one day left and a goal of 100 users. 🚀 If you try Lumi, I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. 💜

Who hunted Lumi?

Lumi was hunted by Rayhan Khilji. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
