Lumescape
Make screenshots beautiful
Make every screenshot look like you hired a designer — right on your Mac. Drop in an image or capture your screen, and Lumescape turns it into something people actually stop to look at: rich gradient backdrops, perfect padding, and soft shadows in seconds. Call out the details with sharp arrows, text, and numbered steps. Blur private data, drop in beautiful code, or lift text with OCR. Then export in one click or copy straight to the clipboard. Make your work look as good as it is.

I take a lot of screenshots — for docs, bug reports, the occasional app listing — and they always looked flat. Raw window grabs with a hard edge, dropped into a doc like an afterthought. Meanwhile the screenshots I admired — in App Store listings, in polished changelogs, on launch posts — had this effortless polish: a soft background, a little breathing room, a gentle shadow. I'd try to fake it by hand in Keynote, and it was tedious every single time. The dedicated tools weren't much better: the web ones were slow, the Electron ones felt foreign, and most wanted a subscription just to put a gradient behind a PNG. So I set out to build the version I actually wanted: native, fast, offline, no friction. Paste or capture, and in a second it looks like you cared. Lumescape is the tool I wished existed on my own Mac. Now it does.
