Luasc

Nobody remembers the score at 4-5 in the third. Luasc does.

Score a tennis match with one tap per point on your Apple Watch. Luasc keeps games, sets, deuce, tiebreaks and change of ends straight, records the whole session as a workout in Health, and mirrors the score live to your iPhone.

Hi Product Hunt. I built Luasc because I kept losing the score. Not the match, the score. You get to 4-5 in the third, someone says "40-30?", the other side says "30-40", and you replay the point because nobody is sure. So: one tap per point on the Apple Watch. Luasc holds games, sets, deuce, tiebreaks, serve rotation and change of ends. It runs the whole session, warm-up included, as a real tennis workout, so heart rate, distance and energy land in Health next to everything else you do. Scoring the match and logging the workout are the same act. The phone can stay in the bag. No watch is fine too. Score it on the phone, or prop an iPad on the net post as a courtside scoreboard. Two things I was stubborn about: - The formats are correct, not approximate. A ten-point match tiebreak instead of the third. A deciding set played out with its tiebreak run to ten at 6-6, the way the Slams have done since 2022. A fixed number of games where a level split is a draw. Sudden-death deuce. Club tennis is played in odd shapes and most score apps only know one. - There is no account. No sign-up, no server of mine holding your matches, because there is no server. Your history, players and settings sync between your own devices through your private iCloud and stay there. No ads. Free covers all the scoring and your last 20 matches. Pro adds unlimited history, head-to-head records with and against every player you have named, and monthly trends. Luasc is Irish for "swing". It is pronounced LOO-sk. I am here all day. Tell me what your club plays that Luasc gets wrong, and I will fix it.
