Lote
Record your videos. Lote subtitles and schedules the rest.
Lote turns a batch of raw vertical videos into scheduled posts. It trims dead air, transcribes Spanish word by word, adds animated subtitles, writes titles and descriptions with AI, and schedules everything to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts via Metricool at the best times. It also cuts the best clips from long videos and includes a built-in teleprompter to record your script. Everything runs on your iPhone: no servers, your videos stay on your device.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Jorge, maker of Lote.
I run a Spanish short-form channel (@heeydzul). Filming was the easy part; what killed me was everything after: trimming silences, adding subtitles, writing a title and description for every video, and then scheduling each one on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube at the right time. For a batch of 20 videos, that was a whole weekend.
So I automated my own pipeline, and then turned it into an app anyone can use. With Lote you pick the videos you recorded, and it:
• Trims dead air at the start (or every long pause)
• Transcribes word by word and burns in subtitles (highlighted, classic, box, minimal, or none)
• Writes the title, description and category with Apple's on-device AI, your own OpenAI key, or you write them yourself
• Builds a posting plan that respects what you already have scheduled
• Schedules everything in Metricool for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts (Trial Reels included), with a dry-run mode first
• Has a built-in teleprompter so you can read your script while you record
• Cuts clips from long videos (talks, podcasts, lives) and reframes horizontal to vertical following your face
What I care about most: there are no Lote servers. All the heavy lifting runs on your iPhone, and your Metricool and Google keys live in Apple's Keychain.
Lote is live on the App Store for iPhone and iPad (Mac version coming soon): your first 10 videos are free, and Lote Pro (monthly or annual) unlocks unlimited videos and clips. It's Spanish-first today, since that's who I built it for.
I'd love your feedback: what's the most painful step in your posting workflow? What should Lote automate next?
