Loopin

Finish More Songs - Capture Ideas, Lyrics and Takes

Loopin is the songwriting app for iOS that keeps every song in one place — import a beat, write lyrics over it, record takes, organize versions, and finally finish your unfinished songs. Free on the App Store.

Top comment

I built Loopin because I kept losing songs before they ever had a chance to exist. As an independent artist, my process was scattered across Voice Memos, Notes, Files, offline music players, and random recordings. Ideas came while listening, mumbling, rewriting lyrics, recording rough takes, and then slowly disappeared into different apps. Existing music tools felt optimized either for production (DAWs) or publishing — not for the messy middle where most songs actually live. The long-term vision is simple: become the place creators open when an idea strikes — and help unfinished work become finished work.

Who hunted Loopin?

Loopin was hunted by Gaurav Chopra. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
