I am very excited to launch LookAway. It's a macOS app that helps you relax your eyes by putting your Mac in Rest mode at regular intervals. It aids in reducing dry eyes, digital eye strain, fatigue, and other issues that come with prolonged screen use.
I built LookAway when I noticed that, by the end of a workday, my eyes felt super dry, itchy, and fatigued. I then learned about the 20-20-20 rule, which is recommended by eye doctors to prevent eye strain, and decided to implement the same technique into a native app. I immediately saw great results, and now I can't live without it.
Now, LookAway is being used by more than 1,000 people every day and has helped them improve their eye health.
