I've always loved two things: space and building things for the web. One day, my 9-year-old daughter asked why it was already 10pm in Paris while it was still only 4pm in New York. I opened my laptop, convinced I'd find a website showing the Earth in real time, with daylight, night, the Sun and the Moon. I never found the one I was imagining. So I started building it. At first, I only wanted a beautiful Earth. Then came the atmosphere. The clouds. The Sun. The Moon. The ISS. Eclipses. Seasons. Time zones. Little by little, it stopped being a globe and became a living model of our planet. Every new feature sparked ten more ideas. Eventually, one simple question kept coming back: What can we log on Globe? It turns out the answer is: almost everything. The name LOG ON GLOBE had actually been waiting for this project for more than twenty years. Back then, it was meant for a travel journal where people could log their journeys on a map. The project never happened, but I never let go of the name. Looking back, I think it finally found its true purpose. Because LOG ON GLOBE isn't just about looking at our planet. It's about understanding it. Connecting with it. Exploring it. One event at a time. Welcome aboard
