Hey PH!
I'm Johan, a solo dev and indie maker.
I built Local AI List because I kept wasting time hunting for local AI tools scattered across GitHub, Reddit threads, and outdated blog posts. Nothing centralized, nothing up to date.
So I built the thing I wanted to exist: a curated directory of open source projects (e.g. llama.cpp, Ollama) for running AI locally: inference engines, agents, RAG, apps, developer tools, and more.
Every project is automatically synced with GitHub daily, so stats like stars and latest release are always fresh. No abandoned projects quietly rotting in the list.
Still early days and the list grows every week. If you know an open source project that should be there, drop it in the comments and I'll add it.
Happy to answer any questions.
